Making my way to downtown Pittsburgh, I found myself excited to finally meet Jackie and Akileo for their engagement photos. It was great to finally meet them as we had to reschedule a few times as the result summer showers that seemed to fall so frequently. That said, nothing could wash away the smiles and satisfaction mutually shared by these two individuals who will be tying the knot in only a few weeks. I didn’t have to get them to pose at all because their joyful expressions were authentically omnipresent throughout the entire evening. Who knew riding a few rides at Kennywood with friends would lead to dinner, and that dinner would lead to an engagement? Today, the two of them are ready to take on the ride of “life” together, holding hands through the ups and downs, leaning in as one in the steep turns and the occasional loops that can come with a future that’s never completely certain or expected. Thanks, Jackie and Akileo. I really enjoyed our afternoon walk and I look forward to shooting your wedding in few weeks.
