Sometimes you just know... which seems to have been the case with Lauren and Pasquale. High school sweethearts, Lauren and Pasquale have allowed their relationship to grow with the passing of time. No stranger to a romance with distance, the two attended separate schools growing up; Lauren was a student at North Allegheny and Pasquale attended Central Catholic. In order to not break with tradition, the two continued their long-distance relationship into college, yet the couple only grew stronger. My first meeting with them was at The Point in Pittsburgh where we took engagement photos, the merging of rivers symbolic of their joyful decision to forever merge lives. I loved how down to earth they both were. Pasquale always had a smile on his face and found his own jokes hysterical. He had a way of keeping things upbeat by not taking himself too seriously. Lauren seemed to be the maestro of their life’s symphony but is as easy-going as they come. This is who they are at their core, and those same traits carried with them into their wedding day. On their day of celebration their Lauren and her ladies hydrated via Mimosas and had a light snack as they steamed dresses and prepped for what was to come. Once on the motor coach arrived they made their way to Heinz Chapel where Pasquale and his brothers were eager to greet them. After the “I do’s,” we took a trip to South Point Country Club where the couple enjoyed heartfelt speeches from both Lauren’s sister and one of Pasquale’s brothers. Next, the DJ directed all the guests to get out of their seats and join in the lively celebration reflective of their Sicilian roots. Within seconds the dance floor erupted as everyone participated in a dance off for the ages. I had so much fun and feel fortunate to have been a part of their summer celebration. Thank you both for an amazing evening.
