Over the holidays, I had the chance to come home to Atlanta and visit with Janeen and Charmain. Janeen is one of my oldest friends and the kindest people I know. Today she introduced me to "her person," and I couldn't have been more excited. I met the two at the Claremont Lounge, a historical landmark in the city. At the beginning of the session, Charmain spoke glowingly about their first meeting on a random night out. She spotted Janeen across the room and couldn't take her eyes off her, and she intentionally created an opportunity for introductions in her straightforward way. As Charmain recounted the story, I turned towards Janeen. Her eye's seemed widened, and her smile spread from cheek to cheek as she reflected upon that memory and so many others. It was just a happy moment. As the session continued, we talked about everything from pets and professions to buying a home together to two proposals, where each person surprised the other in tailored ways that they knew would make the other smile.  Thanks for a lovely afternoon.
