It's funny how quickly one's life can change. It was a first date, and Chris waited for Jim at the Iron Rock Tap House. After showing up more than fashionably late, Jim entered the door, hat on his head and a smile on his face. From there, a conversation started that had no end. By most standards, the two were very different. Until this point in the story, Chris had been single and off on his own. In contrast, Jim had four children he was raising with family support, yet each man fit into the other's life so seamlessly. They seemed to have been partners from the start, as the children and Chris share a mutual bond. Chris and Jim are a team. Add the children. You have a family. You have everything. Chris woke up early on their wedding day to make breakfast for everyone. While preparing a feast, he wondered why the eggs were not cooking. He later discovered that he'd forgotten to turn on the stove. The eggs served as a precursor to life and their wedding day, everything, from rainy weather to Jim's aching back, seemed like bad luck at first, but everything seemed to fall into place perfectly. To add an exclamation to the occasion, one could spot a rainbow, ushering the clouds away, making room for the sun. At the bottom of that rainbow, you found Jim and Chris, newlyweds, taking a moment for their first kiss as a married couple. Congratulations, -Sean
