The school bell rings at Milford High. The bustle of fresh sneakers and teenage chatter floods a hallway that was serenely vacant just moments ago. During this transition, Hillary would focus on Mitch, the school's star lineman; they'd make eye contact and pass—the first in a lifetime of encounters.
Next, Hillary requested Mitch on Snapchat; from there, a friendly conversation ensued, followed by consistent communication. In January of that year, Mitchell randomly asked her to Greaters Ice Cream in the middle of a Cincinnati snowstorm, and she was happy to oblige.
Eager to impress, Mitchell borrowed his dad's keys to the family truck. Hillary was impressed. On the second date, he pulled up in his car, which would have seemed like a downgrade to some, but to Hillary, it was perfect because Mitch was in the driver's seat.
Seven years later and a lifetime to go, she's still riding shotgun.
Congratulations!
