The Point: Lauren and Pasquale

A Morning of Love & Laughter in Pittsburgh

Some love stories are built over time, quietly growing stronger through the years. Lauren and Pasquale’s journey is one of those—effortless, genuine, and rooted in friendship. Their engagement session at Point Park was a perfect reflection of their bond—relaxed, full of laughter, and set against the scenic beauty of Pittsburgh in the morning light.

From the moment we started shooting, it was clear how deeply connected they are. While they attended different high schools, they were close enough to start their relationship early on. Through college—Pasquale at Duquesne University and Lauren at Carnegie Mellon—their love only deepened, proving that distance means little when two people are meant to be together.

A Picture-Perfect Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are all about capturing a couple’s natural dynamic, and Lauren and Pasquale made it easy. They moved through Point Park with a lighthearted ease, stealing glances, sharing inside jokes, and fully embracing the moment. The crisp morning air, the city skyline, and the soft glow of golden-hour light made for a stunning backdrop.

One of my favorite parts of engagement shoots is getting to know my couples on a personal level. While Lauren shared stories of their journey, Pasquale and I got into a fun conversation about hip-hop moguls—an unexpected but welcomed topic that made the morning even more memorable.

Excitement for the Wedding Ahead

As we wrapped up the session, Lauren and Pasquale spoke about how much they’re looking forward to their wedding day—celebrating with their families, dancing the night away, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Their energy, love, and excitement were infectious, making me even more eager to document their big day next year.

If their engagement session is any indication, their wedding is going to be one for the books—full of love, joy, and moments that truly matter. I can’t wait!
