I was recommended to Steve by a former client and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity. During our first phone conversation, I was making the drive to Philadelphia and I remember listening to Steve’s ideas for his surprise proposal to Mauro. Steve was so excited. Mauro was his motivation and he wanted to make this occasion something that was original, a moment they’d reflect on forever fondly. On a fall day at Fallingwater, Steve and Mauro took a tour of the estate's property. Toward the end of the tour, they took a few moments to walk through the forest and look upon the mansion. After a few pictures together, Steve turned to Mauro and with complete confidence, he told him that he’d like to be his forever person and proposed. Mauro gladly accepted and the two took a moment to embrace one another and ponder on their life to come. Now that alone is a story in itself, but Steve had additional plans. As the two made their way to Lawrenceville, they decided to stop in The Abbey for a bite to eat. To Mauro’s surprise, they were greeted by dozens of friends and family who had traveled hundreds of miles to celebrate their engagement. It was great that Steve’s plan had come together and even better to witness the depth of appreciation that Mauro had for his friends and his partner. To friends, family, and Mauro and Steve… all the best :)
