How is it is possible, in a world of billions, that two people become such a synced pair, the missing piece to the other’s life puzzle? What’s the probability that something fits in a place where there was nothing before? Most would say the likelihood of such an occurrence is rare, yet what Kate and Marc have built is just that. Kate’s laugh communicates commitment; her smile is subtle but nothing short of magnetic. So much so that you want to be around her. Hence Marc, a statistician by trade, surely knew that she was hard to find and has held her tight ever since. Together they’d enjoy college life, make the collective leap from Minneapolis to Pittsburgh and welcome Jax, their newest addition to the Richard’s family. I guess you could call that a “hat-trick” for the Richards! An uncommon statistic in hockey and in life, and yet we find ourselves back where we began, for the love that Kate and Marc have is indeed a rarity and when one gets a chance to witness it, they appreciate its purity at every level.
