On a lovely fall day, I had the chance to spend time with Christina and Mike as they celebrated their wedding. The Catholic ceremony at St. Anne’s was traditional and heartfelt, and the bride and groom kept the mood light with their genuine smiles and occasional laughter. After the newlyweds said their I do’s, we made our way down to Oakland where Christina spent her days as an undergrad. I enjoyed hearing the story of her twenty-four hour study session inside the Cathedral of Learning where Mike won her over with time and emotional generosity. From there, we made our way to the LeMont on Mount Washington where the newlyweds were honored in speeches from their parents and friends from their days in college. As the party started, every chair was vacant and the dance floor stayed full for the rest of the evening. A special thanks to my photography friend Christina for accompanying me throughout the day.
