On a fair weather Friday I joined my friend Pat along the North Shore as he waited patiently for his bride to be. As he faced the city skyline Jess descended from the stairs with a smile that warmed the winter air. These two STEM enthusiasts chose The Carnegie Science Center as a launching pad for their future. I had the chance to watch as they orbited the earth at NASA’s space station where they experienced zero gravity before venturing into RoboWorld where they sat court-side as Hoops, the Robot, went perfect from the field. Once the museum closed, the couple took their time reciting brief but personalized nuptials. As the evening winded down we walked towards Jerome Bettis Grill36. During the commute, I observed the magnetic connection each had for the other, such a bond Einstein would fail to completely explain; yet I think in reality it is the most straightforward of formulas……….. Jess+Pat=chemistry.
