Rina and Spencer are married! The day began at a historic residence in downtown Cleveland. Her Bridesmaids and college friends were helping her with her hair and makeup. Her parents arrived, and tears started flowing as her mother assisted Rina in getting into her dress. As they finished the final touches upstairs, I sat with Rina's father, Barnabas, who patiently awaited her arrival downstairs. Looking out the window, he said, "I have been waiting for this day." 

    A few streets away, Spencer and his friends were preparing, helping one another with ties, enjoying a few beverages, and playing games. I could tell Spencer was locked in. Earlier in the relationship, he'd committed to them being a couple. Uprooting his life in sunny California and moving with Rina when she was accepted into medical school in The Midwest. Such an action speaks volumes regarding his commitment, but the move seemed simple to Spencer.   

   The ceremony was held at The Collision Bend Brewing Company and was officiated by Spencer's friend from Kindergarten. After exchanging personal vows, everyone gathered inside for a few toasts from friends and family. Spencer's college roommate spoke about his friend's loyalty, and Spencer's father and sister expressed how special the pair was to their family. Rina's father brought the room to tears in his reflections regarding his only daughter. He explained how he felt the day she was born and how she used to wait for him to return home from work. Rina was his purpose, and he was so happy that she'd found Spencer—another perfect moment to a beautiful day. What a day :) Congratulations to you both!
