Carolyn and Adam met on the Columbus campus of Ohio State. As Engineering majors, the two had similar interests and after a few encounters, they quickly became friends. After an evening of bowling, these two soon fell into one another’s lane for a lifetime. After a few years of college, memories at the shoe and a math problem or two, Adam took a knee on a lake trip with Carolyn and she said “I do.” And with that we find ourselves in Pittsburgh today, the city the pair has chosen to move to and start their lives as one. After getting ready in the city’s North Shore, the two rendezvoused on a hilltop at the Shannopin Country Club. After a tap upon the shoulder, Adam turned towards his bride and smiled, a smile that never left his face. After a few photos and some quick conversation, the pair made their way to St. Boniface Church where they were wed in front of friends and family. After their ceremony, toasts were provided by Carolyn’s father, sister, and Adam’s best man. Their words were both rib-tickling and warm, spoken with a level of authenticity that is only attainable through years of familiarity. After the cake was cut, Carolyn eagerly laced-up her Converse and led Adam and their guests on the dance floor where The Swing met The Shoot, and “Hang-on-Sloopy” was recited by all, every attendant, an active participant in the celebration. Thanks again for letting me be your photographer, ya’ll couldn’t be more perfectly matched.
Best Wishes,
-Sean
