Today I had the chance to document the union of Ruba and Anthony at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Bridgeville. A star football player at Seton La Salle, he took his talents to Grove City, where he met most of the wedding party. Still very much a team, they reminisced on past glories from their gridiron days as they prepared for the big day, while at the same time keeping things light with the playful jeers only brothers can dish out to one another. Anthony could not be happier to be with his football family reunited, but the source of his smile was knowing that he was going to join Ruba, and together they’d be taking on the game of life together. Ruba and Anthony met by chance in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside and with time, they became an inseparable item and today they made their union official. Every wedding has its moments, but this one took on a charter all its own. A combination of eastern European flair along with a lively band that had the reception going throughout the night made this one of the more memorable evenings of the season. A special shoutout to my friend Tara Bennett, I always enjoy shooting with you and this was another epic occasion. To the bride and groom! The best to you both!
