Approximately 105,000 people pack into the football stadium in Columbus, OH to watch their Ohio State Buckeyes take on their foes. AKA The Horseshoe, the noise level there during fall home games reaches epic decibel levels. The guest list for Maria and Nathan’s wedding, proud OSU alums, was slightly below that number of fans, but the per-person energy level was as intense and fun as any I’ve witnessed at a wedding. A Cellist and Violin player opened the ceremony at St. Louise de Marillac Parish in Pittsburgh’s Upper St. Clair suburb. The night that followed at Phipps Conservatory, a Nationally Recognized Historic Place in Pittsburgh, can be described in one word—exhilarating. There was a hilarious toast, a live New Orleans’s style band who allowed random solos from wedding guests, and an off-the-charts energy. To paraphrase the OSU fight song this gang definitely had “the earth reverberating with a mighty cheer.” Many to Randi for another great opportunity to work with another lovely couple.
